Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters Fruit Flavored Water Beverage, Tropical Fruit | Wegmans.
Capri Sun comes out with a “water beverage”. Wanna see the ingredients list? Here you go:
Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Citric Acid, Sucralose (Splenda Brand Sweetener), Natural Flavor.
They’re marketing it as a healthy alternative to water for kids:
Tip: Consuming 5-8 servings (8 fl oz each) of fluids per day is recommended by health professionals. (Fluid needs vary per person and can be met through a variety of sources, including Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters, plain water, milk, and other liquids. 0% Juice.
Disgusting.

I totally agree, it’s insane to secure parents in the false security of giving their kids a “healthy” drink like that with such a tag line!…

I’d like to say I was surprised but unfortunately this sort of thing is all too common here in the states. And when I was a kid I would have gone right for this and my parents probably would have given in and gotten it for me, figuring it was a “healthy” choice — which is a big part of the reason I was such a fat kid!
